Compression fitting (Compression Fitting) is a common pipe joint,
its function is to connect pipes of different materials or
different diameters together. The structure of a compression joint
consists of three parts: the joint body, compression ring and
gasket.
The 1/4 stainless steel pipe joint is a compression joint, which is
connected by inserting the pipe into the joint body, then
compressing the ring to compress the pipe, and finally the sealing
gasket acts as a seal. Its advantage is that it is easy to install,
does not require welding, and can be disassembled and reused.
NPT (National Pipe Thread) and BSP (British Standard Pipe) are two
different pipe thread standards, which are widely used in the
United States and Europe respectively. Therefore, the external
thread of the 1/4 stainless steel pipe joint can be NPT or BSP
standard.
Scope of use:
1/4 stainless steel pipe joints are usually used in low-pressure
